California Desert Arts Council and our affiliated organizations (“CDAC”) is committed to protecting your privacy when you visit any of our websites including www.cadesertarts.org (collectively the “CDAC Sites”).
We do not collect personal information about individuals, such as names and mail or e-mail addresses, unless the individual knowingly provides it to us or through a CDAC Site. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Privacy Policy” or “Policy”) describes our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information. All activities in which you may engage on this website are voluntary. You are not required to provide any personal information to us.
In choosing to provide information, you agree to be bound by the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use of the CDAC Sites as set forth below. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy or the Terms of Use, then you should immediately exit this website and discontinue using the CDAC Sites. Your use of the CDAC Sites constitutes your acceptance of the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date indicated above and will remain in effect until changed, in which case the changes will become effective on the date they are posted on a CDAC Site or we otherwise notify you of the changes. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes, modifications, additions, or deletions will be effective immediately on their posting to this site.
Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection
Technologies
As you navigate through and interact with a CDAC Site, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including information about your computer and internet connection, such as your IP address, operating system, and browser type. The information we collect automatically is only statistical data and does not include personal information. It helps us to improve the CDAC Sites and to deliver a better and more personalized services, including by enabling us to:

· Store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize the CDAC Sites according to your individual interests.

· Recognize you when you return to a CDAC Site.

How We Respond to “Do Not Track” Disclosures
We are strongly committed to not sharing personal information with third parties. Other than to CDAC affiliated organizations for the purposes set out above, and except as described in this Policy, we do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information or general information to third parties without informing you in advance. We provide some of our services through contractual arrangements with affiliates, services providers, partners and other third parties (collectively, “service partners”). Our service partners may use your personal information to operate our sites and to deliver their services. For example, your data may be transferred to website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in designing and operating the website, executing services, or helping us analyze collected data. These parties will only use your data for the purpose of carrying out the work as agreed with us and will be required to keep the information confidential. We will encourage our service partners to adopt and post privacy policies. However, the use of your personal information by our service partners is governed by the privacy policies of those service partners and is not subject to our control.
Children Under Thirteen Years of Age
We are a general audience site, and do not direct any of our content specifically to children under 13 years of age. We understand and are committed to respecting the sensitive nature of children’s privacy online. If we learn or have reason to suspect that a site user is under age 13, we will promptly delete any personal information in that user’s account, if applicable.
CDAC Policy on Disclosure of Information
We may compile and provide aggregate statistics about our visitors, customers, sales, traffic patterns, and related site information to third parties, but these statistics will not include any personally identifying information.
CDAC may release account information, if applicable, when such release is: (a) reasonably necessary to comply with the law; (b) enforce the terms of any of our user agreements; (c) or protect the rights, property, and safety of CDAC, the users of the CDAC Sites, or others.
We may notify you by e-mail about events or activities at, or related to, CDAC that we believe may be of interest to you. If you do not want us to use your e-mail address to contact you for these purposes, you may send an e-mail with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line, containing your name and e-mail address to cdac@cadesertarts.org.

We provide links only as a convenience, and we do not endorse or control, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices or the content of these linked sites. If you provide any personal data or information through any third-party web site, or choose to communicate with us using third-party collaboration tools or other social media platforms, your transaction will occur on that third party’s web site (not a CDAC Site) and the personal data or information you provide will be collected by, and controlled by the privacy policy of that third party.
