California Desert Arts Council continues its series of free monthly arts salons with events in five Coachella Valley cities from February through June. The salons offer a casual environment for artists, arts administrators, and others to network, learn, and collaborate.

CDAC offers the salons to help advance its mission to unify, empower, and promote the region’s arts and culture community.

A different arts and culture venue in the Coachella Valley hosts each salon, from Heather James Fine Art, to CV Rep to Armando Lerma’s art studio. Topics have included pursuing arts grants, creating an elevator pitch, strategizing for summer, and others.

Upcoming salons welcome the creative community to Palm Springs Cultural Center (formerly Camelot Theatres) Feb.7, followed by La Quinta Museum (March 15), Cabot’s Pueblo Museum in Desert Hot Springs (April 5), Indio Performing Arts Center (May 15), and Rancho Mirage Public Library and Observatory (June 13).
