Fashion Design Instructor (full time)

Chaffey College seeks an Instructor of Fashion Design who will assist the Dean and Coordinator, and work with college and community leaders to promote the program. This position offers an opportunity to update and diversify the curriculum and develop relationships with local industry leaders to facilitate curriculum development and student work experience/internship opportunities. Application deadline is February 9, 2018.

Graphic Design Instructor (full time)

Chaffey College seeks a Graphic Design Instructor to work with staff, faculty, and management to maintain a vibrant and innovative digital media program. The applicant should be versed in the theory and practice of graphic design particularly as it pertains to contemporary print media. Applicants should be capable of teaching courses at all levels of graphic design at a two-year community college. Application deadline is February 9, 2018.

Studio Arts Technician/Museum Preparator (full time)

Chaffey College seeks a Studio Arts Technician/Museum Preparator to coordinate the operation of instructional art studios and equipment; maintain inventory of instructional materials and monitor budgets through Excel; perform routine inspection and maintenance of lab equipment and oversee operation of power equipment; provide instructional support to students and faculty; and train student workers in the studio and museum.  The application must be completely filled out and clearly show that you meet the qualifications.

Digital Storytelling Educator / Filmmaker

DIGICOM seeks a Digital Storytelling Educator/Filmmaker to work with teachers and their students who are involved in innovating and enhancing their classrooms with video production and digital storytelling. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in education teaching video production and/or 3-5 years in professional video production as a producer/director with some teaching experience. In either case, candidate should have strong writing skills and a passion for storytelling. Palm Springs Annual Juried Art Show 

The Palm Springs Public Arts Commission invites Coachella Valley and High Desert artists to submit work for the 19th Annual Juried Art Show. The commission has chosen the theme “Bold & Bright,” and selected Marianne Falk, managing director of Desert X, to jury the exhibition and select the top four awards. Submissions must be delivered on Monday, January 29, 2018, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at Desert Art Center, 550 N. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs. 2019/2020 El Paseo Sculpture Exhibition

El Paseo Sculpture Exhibition in Palm Desert seeks entries for 2019/2020. The exhibition space consists of eighteen lighted concrete pads located in the medians along a one and one half mile stretch of prime retail. The artwork remains on exhibition for approximately two (2) years, with installation tentatively planned for October - November 2018 and de-installation planned for October 2020.  Submit your information online is February 28, 2018 at 11:59p.m. MST.  If you are unable to apply online, contact Deborah S.
